A Unique Approach to Life’s Challenges
About Steve and Kay
Steve and Kay Johnson have been married for 45 years. After meeting and dating in Bible School, Kay pursued her dream of becoming an elementary teacher. After moving back to the family farm, they worked together and played together, riding motorcycles – which has become a lifelong pastime. It wasn’t long until the first of four children came along. Their strong desire to help others experience God’s love, grace, strength, and peace has become an earmark of their life and ministry ever since.
The highlight of their life was raising their four children to love God, love people, and serve God through helping others. They have always had a dynamic relationship with their kids, and now with their 11 grandchildren.
Their ministry has taken various forms over the years: Youth ministry began shortly after they were married and continued for the next 35 years. Steve and Kay also served as associate pastors concurrently and could be found serving in the church, teaching and leading singles, couples, and families to a stronger and deeper relationship with each other and with God.
Currently, the Johnson’s reside in Iowa and Minnesota and enjoy time on their motorcycle trips, with family, and entertaining friends.
